Fintiri Assures APC Members of United Structure Ahead of 2027 Elections
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has assured members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State of a united and strong political structure capable of delivering victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
The Governor gave the assurance while speaking with the Government House Press Crew shortly after returning from a one-day official trip to Abuja. He addressed the outcome of the party’s senatorial primary election, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for what he described as the opportunity to build a strong political family in the state.

Governor Fintiri stated that the APC leadership in Adamawa would continue to work tirelessly towards ensuring the party’s victory in all categories of elections in 2027, reaffirming the party’s commitment to strengthening unity among members across the state.
Reacting to complaints and protests that followed the primary election, Governor Fintiri described the process as free, fair, and credible. He noted that the reactions were expected, given that many young people and first-time politicians participated in the exercise. While admitting that there were minor human errors during the process, he maintained that the election was generally transparent and successful.
Speaking on his senatorial ambition, the Governor said the people of Adamawa Northern Zone and the entire state should expect greater service from him if elected to the Senate. He explained that his experience in national politics would help attract more development to the area, particularly in addressing insecurity and other challenges affecting communities in the zone.
Governor Fintiri, who emerged as the sole aspirant in the senatorial primary election, emphasized that his emergence was not a favour but a reflection of his administration’s achievements in governance. He added that his government had delivered meaningful development across Adamawa State, especially in the northern zone.
On the remaining party primaries, particularly the governorship election, Governor Fintiri assured party members and the people of the state that the process would continue to improve. He said lessons learned from previous primaries would help the party conduct more credible, fair, and transparent elections that would truly reflect the wishes of the people.
