Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally claimed responsibility for the assassination of a senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut. According to an AFP report, Netanyahu issued a stern warning on Thursday, May 7, declaring that “no terrorist is immune” from the reach of the Israeli military.

In a video statement released by his office, Netanyahu confirmed the target of the previous night’s strike in the Lebanese capital. He said, “Last night, we eliminated, in the heart of Beirut, the commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan force, referring to the group’s most elite military unit.
The Prime Minister’s remarks included a direct message to regional adversaries:
