Ganye Chiefdom Stakeholders Endorse APC Governorship Candidate Ahmed Tijjani Galadima Ahead of 2027 Polls

A major consensus has emerged from the Ganye Chiefdom in Adamawa State as Senior stakeholders have thrown their weight behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Ahmed Tijjani Galadima Aminu, for the 2027 general election.
The endorsement was formalized during a pivotal meeting convened by Honorable Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas Phd in Yola, a key figure in the chiefdom, who emphasized the need for the group to take destiny into its own hands and move past internal divisions.

The stakeholders echoed this sentiment, committing to mobilizing support not only for Mr. Galadima but also for all APC candidates.
This builds on a previous endorsement for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with a promise to campaign vigorously for the highest voter turnout from the chiefdom.
A communique from the meeting highlighted key resolutions. Stakeholders pledged to maintain unity, avoiding divisions along religious or ethnic lines, which they stated would undermine their progress.
They also formally thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his work, while reminding him of his promise to construct the ten-kilometre township road for the people of Ganye.
Several prominent figures voiced their support. Alhaji Bamanga Usman Jada, the MD/CEO of OGFZA, declared the search for a competent candidate over.

The call for unity was also echoed by Hon. Alhassan Hamanjoda, a former Member of the Ganye Constituency, who urged the electorate to work for the party’s victory.
Furthermore, the stakeholders appealed directly to President Tinubu to finalize the appointment letter for Honorable Namdas Phd as the Director General of the Border Communities Development Agency.
The formal motion for the endorsement was moved by the Member representing Ganye, Jada, Toungo and Mayo Belwa at the House of Representatives, Hon. Muhammed Inuwa Bassi, and seconded by Hon. Barr. Lilian Steven.

The group also extended their congratulations to His Royal Highness, the Gangwari Ganye, on his appointment as Chancellor of Taraba State University, solidifying a day of significant political and traditional alignment in the region.
The endorsement marks a significant step in unifying the Ganye Chiefdom behind the APC’s 2027 agenda.
