Fintiri Hails Namdas’ Appointment as Border Communities Development Agency DG

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has congratulated Honourable Abdulrazak Namdas on his appointment as the Director General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA) .

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, Governor Fintiri described the appointment as well-deserved and a clear recognition of Hon. Namdas’ capacity, experience in public service, and commitment to national development .

“I thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for finding this worthy son of Adamawa fit and proper for this strategic national assignment,” Governor Fintiri stated. “It is a proud moment for our state and a testament to the quality of human resources Adamawa continues to contribute to nation building” .

The Governor expressed confidence that Hon. Namdas will bring his legislative experience, diligence, and patriotic zeal to bear in managing the mandate of the Agency, particularly in promoting peaceful border relations, community development, and security along Nigeria’s frontiers .

“I have no doubt in the ability of Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas to deliver on this mandate. I urge him to continue to make Adamawa proud by serving with integrity, dedication, and excellence,” the Governor added .

Governor Fintiri prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom upon Hon. Namdas as he assumes office .

Hon. Namdas, a former member of the House of Representatives representing Ganye/Jada/Mayo Belwa/Toungo federal constituency of Adamawa State, served as spokesperson of the 8th House of Representatives .

He is a seasoned journalist and public relations practitioner who previously served as Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Boni Haruna of Adamawa State .
