Barr Leneke Nominated for Commissioner, ADHA Begins Confirmation Process
The Adamawa State House of Assembly has received the name of Leader Andrew Leneke from Demsa Local Government Area for screening and confirmation as a commissioner nominee.
The nomination was conveyed to the House in a letter forwarded by the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, during Tuesday’s plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Bathiya Wesley.
Following the presentation of the governor’s correspondence on the floor of the House, the Speaker directed the Clerk of the Assembly to invite the nominee to appear before lawmakers on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, alongside his curriculum vitae for screening and possible confirmation.
Leader Leneke, who hails from Demsa LGA, is expected to face the lawmakers during the confirmation exercise as part of the constitutional process for appointment into the state executive council.
