Engineer Ahmad Salihijo Vows Inclusive Representation After Securing Federal Constituency Ticket

Engineer Ahmad Salihijo, the newly declared winner of the primary election for the Yola North, Yola South, and Girei Federal Constituency, has pledged to deliver purposeful leadership and inclusive representation if elected to the House of Representatives.

Salihijo made the commitment during a press briefing shortly after his victory in the party primaries, where he secured the delegates’ mandate to fly the party’s ticket in the upcoming general election.

Addressing a gathering of journalists and enthusiastic supporters, the engineer-turned-politician framed his win as a collective achievement for the entire constituency. He extended heartfelt gratitude to party delegates for the confidence reposed in him, acknowledging their role in the electoral outcome.

Outlining his legislative priorities, Salihijo said his focus would centre on youth empowerment, infrastructure development, education, healthcare delivery, and expanding economic opportunities across the three local government areas.

He called on party members and supporters to remain united ahead of the general election, stressing that collective effort would be essential to achieving success at the polls.
