APC Governorship Aspirant Tangwami Tours Numan Federation, Pays Homage to Traditional Rulers

As the countdown to the 2027 general election begins, a leading All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Chief Bilishan F. Tangwami, has intensified his consultation tour across the Numan Federation, demonstrating deep respect for traditional institutions and a firm grassroots connection.

The tour, which has been met with overwhelming goodwill, continued Tuesday with a significant stop at the palace of the Hama Bata, His Royal Majesty, Humon Alhamdu Gladstone Teneke, in Demsa Local Government Area. Chief Tangwami was warmly received by the royal father, who offered prayers and blessings for the aspirant’s political journey.

From Demsa, the consultation train moved to Guyuk Local Government Area, where the aspirant paid a courtesy call on the Kwandi Nunguraya, Sir (Dr) Kuruhaye Dishon Dansanda II. The monarch echoed the sentiments of his counterpart, showering prayers and good wishes upon Chief Tangwami.

The tour later proceeded to Numan Local Government Area, where Chief Tangwami visited the palace of the Hama Bachama, His Royal Majesty Homun Dr. Daniel Ismaila Shaga, CON. As with earlier visits, the revered traditional ruler extended his blessings and prayed for the aspirant’s success.

In a significant political move, Chief Tangwami was formally received by the APC Demsa Local Government Executive Committee, where he officially declared his intention to contest for the governorship.

He was accompanied by a strong delegation of colleagues from the Executive Council, including Commissioners Hon. Neido Geoffrey Kofulto, Dr. Umar Garba Pela, Hon. James mawuri Iliya, Hon. Wunfe G. Anthony, Hon. Getugel Hammanjumba, Hon. Titus Solomon, and Hon. Haruna Ibrahim. Their presence underscored the cordial relationships and trust the aspirant enjoys among party stakeholders.

Addressing party faithful and stakeholders, Chief Tangwami reiterated his vision of inclusive governance and sustainable development. He pledged to build upon and continue the good works of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, emphasizing his resolve to serve all communities in Adamawa State with fairness, dedication, and transparency.

“Our mission is to unite, develop, and uplift every corner of Adamawa. We will not leave any community behind,” Tangwami stated.
