Maladministration: Gov Fintiri Approves Indefinite Suspension a Traditional Ruler

Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has approved indefinite suspension of District Head of Daware in Fufore Local Government Area, Alhaji Hassan Ja’afaru.

The suspension was contained in a letter dated 25th April. 2025 with reference number MCA/GHY/S.148/T.1/18 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Department of Chieftaincy Affairs Adama Felicity Mamman.

The letter indicates that the suspension was due mal-administration, Corruption, Breach of Security, Confiscation of farmlands.

“The letter reads in part: “Following a series of complaint made against you for Mal-administration. corruption, Breach of Security, Confiscation of farmlands and creating a vacuum that has led all traditional issues un-attended for as a result of your non staying in your Domain.

“You are therefore requested to handover all Government properties in your possession to the District scribe pending further directives”.
