Adamawa United Hails ‘Excellent’ NNL Season as Promotion Looms
The Media Officer of Adamawa United Football Club, Austin Ajayi, has described the club’s performance in the ongoing 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season as excellent, expressing confidence that the team is on the verge of securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
In an interview with Camaa TV on Friday, Ajayi reflected on the team’s impressive run so far, highlighting their current standing on the league log.

Adamawa United currently occupies second place, trailing log leaders Ranchers Bees of Kaduna. Crucially, the Adamawa side holds a significant advantage—a game in hand against Kebbi United, a fixture that could prove pivotal in the race for the sole promotion ticket.
Ajayi was effusive in his praise for the club’s hierarchy, crediting the management under the leadership of Bulus Daniel for fostering a winning mentality.
“The performance of this club has been nothing short of excellent. We must specially commend the management led by Bulus Daniel for their resilience, commitment, and dedication to the course of this club,” Ajayi stated. “Under the current leadership, the vision has been clear from day one, and their unwavering support has created the perfect environment for success. We are on the brim of qualifying into the Nigeria Premier Football League, and that is a testament to their hard work behind the scenes.”
The media officer also took time to acknowledge the technical crew, the players, and the supporting staff for their roles in the team’s remarkable campaign.
He pointed to the high level of discipline maintained within the squad as a key factor in their on-field exploits.
“The dexterity shown by our coaches, players, and all supporting staff cannot be overemphasized,” Ajayi continued. “They have maintained an extraordinary level of discipline, both on and off the pitch, which has translated into the marvellous performance we are witnessing this season. It is a collective effort, and everyone deserves credit for this push.”
With the season entering its decisive phase, all eyes will now be on Adamawa United’s outstanding away fixture against Kebbi United. A positive result in that match could see them leapfrog Ranchers Bees and take control of their own destiny in the quest for top-flight football.
