The attack, which targeted communities within the council area, has raised security concerns, prompting the immediate response from the state’s police command. CP Morris, accompanied by a team of senior police officers, visited the affected villages to evaluate the extent of the damage and review the current security architecture.

According to a statement released by the commandโs Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the visit was aimed at bolstering the security response. “The Commissioner of Police personally led a team of senior officers to the affected villages to assess the security situation and review police deployments,” the statement read. “This move is aimed at strengthening collaboration with sister security agencies, particularly the Military, to ensure a robust and coordinated response.”
Upon arrival in Madagali, the Police Commissioner was received by the traditional ruler, the Ptil Madagali, and the Chairman of Madagali Local Government Area. The discussions centered on the security lapses that led to the incident and strategies to prevent future occurrences.

In a display of empathy and community policing, CP Morris also held discussions with members of the affected communities, including those from Shuawari, Kirchinga Ward.
