Governor Fintiri Reaffirms Development Commitment in Jada LGA
During his assessment tour of Adamawa’s twenty-one local government areas, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to providing potable water and critical infrastructure to Jada LGA. To ensure long-term efficiency, the Governor announced the deployment of additional resources to complement ongoing water projects.
He emphasised that his visit aims to evaluate progress across key sectors including security, education, and healthcare.
To boost economic activity and community connectivity, Governor Fintiri flagged off the construction of 4.42 kilometres of major roads. He also commissioned the official residence of the Local Government Chairman alongside other completed projects.

The Governor assured residents that all legitimate requests from the community would be addressed promptly, reinforcing his commitment to grassroots development.
Legislators and cabinet members, including the Deputy Speaker and the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, lauded the Governor’s interventions. While acknowledging significant improvements in health and human capital, they advocated for further growth through the establishment of a higher learning institution and the construction of the Jada–Kojoli road.
They noted that such projects are vital for sustaining the area’s economic momentum.
The Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mohammed Salihu So’o, commended the Governor for his inclusive leadership and national reputation for peacebuilding.
In a show of gratitude, Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur presented the Governor with traditional warrior’s gear and food items on behalf of the people. This gesture symbolised the strong bond between the state leadership and the local community.

Stakeholders, including women and youth representatives, expressed their support for the administration while requesting continued developmental focus.
