The project, flagged off by Governor Fintiri on May 20, 2024, was inaugurated by Dr. Saraki, who served as the Special Guest of Honour. The former Kwara State Governor commended the Adamawa State administration for its commitment to infrastructure development that directly addresses the needs of the people.
In his commissioning address, Dr. Saraki lauded Governor Fintiri for his “doggedness and commitment to the transformation of Adamawa State,” noting that the administrationโs policies and programmes align perfectly with the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens.
“The execution of this critical road network is a testament to purposeful leadership. Governor Fintiri has demonstrated that with focus, even the most challenging projects can be delivered for the benefit of the people,” Dr. Saraki stated.

In his response, Governor Fintiri reiterated that project execution has remained a top priority since he assumed office. He assured residents that his government would continue to deliver good governance until the last day of his tenure.
“Our philosophy is clear: no one is left behind and nothing is left untouched. We are determined to ensure that no community in Adamawa State feels isolated from the dividends of governance,” Governor Fintiri declared.
Earlier, the State Commissioner for Works and Energy Development, Adamu Atiku Abubakar, detailed the scope of the project. He explained that the comprehensive road network is designed to significantly ameliorate the transportation and accessibility challenges long faced by residents of the Federal Housing Estate and its surrounding communities.
The event featured goodwill messages from key local stakeholders. Abubakar Abdullahi; and the District Head of Girei, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Mustapha, all described Governor Fintiri as a “God-sent” leader.
They collectively appreciated the Governor for his numerous developmental projects spread across the state, emphasizing that the new road network would boost economic activities, improve safety, and enhance the quality of life for thousands of residents.
