In a strongly worded statement shared with the media, a Nigerian woman, Sonpiya Movalga Muga, has publicly denounced what she describes as defamatory allegations made against her by Dr. David Charima, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Taraba State on Animal Health.

According to Muga, Dr. Charima allegedly accused her of being a hypocrite and claimed she is having affairs with ten different individuals in Jalingo — accusations she has firmly denied, describing them as “malicious, unfounded, and damaging to her reputation.”

“I am compelled to address the malicious accusations made by Dr. David Charima, which have caused significant harm to my reputation and character,” Muga wrote.

She has publicly challenged the governor’s aide to present concrete evidence to support his claims, warning that his silence or inability to do so would be taken as a clear admission of defamation. Muga emphasized that legal action is on the table if her demands are not met.

“I demand a full retraction of his allegations and a formal apology,” she stated. “I am putting Dr. Charima on notice that I will be taking legal action.”
