Adamawa: Gov Fintiri swears-in 8 new permanent secretaries

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, represented by his deputy Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, recently inducted eight new permanent secretaries at a ceremony held in the Banquet Hall of the Government House in Yola on Monday. He emphasized the importance of serving the state with integrity and fairness, urging the appointees to deliver unbiased service.

“Their appointment is a call to higher duty; and their oath of office and allegiance demands fairness to all,” the governor stated.

The newly sworn-in permanent secretaries are Ladi Baba Hamza, Emmanuel Iliya Tapasha, Mohammed Tukur, Hassan Maude Modibo, Syndana Dada, Mercy Ornan Dauda, Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim, and Mrs. Melody Pwambodi Herman. Speaking on behalf of the new appointees, Mrs. Melody Pwambodi Herman pledged their commitment and loyalty to the administration, assuring that they would deliver their best in their new roles.

The ceremony was marked by the administration of the oath of office and allegiance by the attorney-general of the state, Isuwa Misali. The governor’s remarks underlined the significance of their roles, highlighting that their service is crucial to the progress and development of the state.
