Galatasaray have reportedly received a €120 million offer from a Saudi Arabian club for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, amid growing interest as the summer transfer window intensifies. The Turkish champions are said to be holding two separate nine-figure bids for their prized forward.

Turkish transfer insider Serhan Türk revealed that Galatasaray currently have two distinct €120 million proposals on the table—one from a European club and another from Saudi Arabia—with the identity of the Saudi suitor remaining undisclosed.

This development follows previous links to Atlético Madrid, who were reported to have made a bid of the same amount. Additionally, an unnamed European club is said to have made a verbal offer of €125 million.

Despite the extraordinary interest from multiple continents, Galatasaray have shown no signs of budging. The Süper Lig champions are determined to keep Osimhen in Istanbul, viewing the 27-year-old striker as the cornerstone of their squad and key to the next phase of the team’s development.

Their resolve has only strengthened following Osimhen’s outstanding first full season at the club after his record transfer last year. The Nigeria international scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in Galatasaray successfully defending their league title.

Club president Dursun Özbek reportedly values Osimhen at €150 million and has no intention of entering transfer negotiations. Beyond the high valuation, the club is preparing a new long-term contract extending to 2029 with a substantial salary increase. They also plan to hand Osimhen the captain’s armband following Mauro Icardi’s expected departure and offer him the iconic number nine shirt, symbolizing his central role in Galatasaray’s identity.

Meanwhile, the club aims to strengthen their midfield with a marquee signing to boost their UEFA Champions League ambitions, underlining their desire for Osimhen to lead their next chapter rather than leave.

One path now closed is a move to Manchester United. According to the Manchester Evening News, the combined factors of Galatasaray’s steep asking price and Osimhen’s advantageous salary—enhanced by Turkey’s favourable tax breaks for top earners—have priced the striker out of reach for Old Trafford. Manager Michael Carrick, having already signed Atalanta midfielder Ederson, is expected to pursue alternative striking options. Marcus Rashford may be reintegrated into the first team if no suitable offers come in, while Joshua Zirkzee is widely anticipated to depart after an underwhelming two-year spell.

Although Saudi Pro League clubs have reportedly offered personal terms exceeding $50 million per year, Osimhen has consistently expressed a desire to remain in European football, with a Premier League move described as one of his long-term ambitions. With Galatasaray steadfast and European suitors yet to meet their valuation, the transfer saga surrounding one of the world’s most sought-after strikers shows no sign of ending soon.
