Sen. Yaroe Distributes 60 HP Computers To Tertiary Institutions In Adamawa

Senator representing Adamawa South, Senatorial district, Binos Yaroe, has made a donation of 60 HP Computers to six tertiary institutions in the Southern Senatorial district of the State.

The donations according to the Senator is to promote Information Communication Technology (ICT) knowledge driven amongst the students and staff of the affected institutions.

While presenting the the computers to heads of the benefiting schools, in Mayo – Belwa Local Government Area on Monday, Mrs Eunice Timothy, an official with ALKAF Global Resources, whose company is being contracted for the project appreciates senator Yaroe for his developmental strides to the people of the southern zone of Adamawa State.

She charged the benefiting institutions to make judicious use of the devices to achieved the aim it’s given for.

Ten set of computers were given to each of the benefiting institutions including College of Agriculture Ganye, College of Health Technology Mayo belwa, State Polytechnic Yola, Numan Campus, College of ICT Teaching Centre Numan and Luther Bible College Lamurde.

Recall that the senator had in September 2023 offered same intervention of 71 HP computers to three institutions including, college of Agriculture Ganye, College of Health Technology Mayo belwa and State Polytechnic Yola, Numan Campus.

Senator Yaroe, while speaking at the occasion through his representative Gibson Alexander, urged the school administrators of the benefiting schools to make good usage of the devices by impacting the ICT knowledge in to the students.

In their separate speeches, heads of the benefiting institutions expressed gratitude to the senator for connecting their schools to the global world and charged him to continue with his good works in the educational sector .

They promised to make judicious use of the devices for the benefit of the students and staff .
