Police Arrest Man For Beating Wife, Burying New Born Baby.

The Anambra Police Command has arrested a middle-aged man identified as Ifeanyi Ezenwankwo from Nanka community in Orumba North Local Government Area of the State for allegedly inflicting body injuries on his wife, Ekwutosi, and also burying a newborn baby in a shallow grave.

Ezenwankwo was said to have buried the newborn baby to conceal his illicit acts with a 16-year-old girl whom he impregnated and bore the child for him afterward.

The wife, Ekwutosi, a native of Agbiligba Nanka community, said she was inflicted with the injuries after she raised the alarm when she came back home and met her husband burying the newborn baby.
