North East Governors Meet In Yola, Brainstorm On Progress Of The Region

Governors of the northeastern states of Nigeria have begun their 9th meeting in Yola, to chart a new course for the region.

The Governors believed good synergy amongst them would end the ringering insecurity in the subregion and enhanced development.

Borno State Governor and chair of the forum, Babagana Zulum renewed their commitment to overcome the challenges of the region.

He lauded President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shatima for their commitment to maintaining peace in the zone.

The host Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, expressed his strong believed that the forum, will bring about peace and development in the region.
