Hon Bassi Chairs turbaning of New District Head of Mbangen Tiren in Jada

Honorable Bassi took on the esteemed role of overseeing the turbaning ceremony, a momentous occasion that celebrates the cultural heritage and leadership traditions of the community. This event marked the appointment of Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Njidda (Dan Isan Ganye) as the District Head of Mbangan Tiren, a newly established district within the region.

In his capacity as chairman, Honorable Bassi expressed gratitude to Governor Ahamdu Umaru Fintiri for sanctioning the creation of the district and praised His Royal Highness Gangwari Ganye Alhaji Umaru Sanda II for his relentless efforts in fostering unity within the Chiefdom.

Addressing the newly appointed District Head, Honorable Bassi emphasized the importance of promoting peace, unity, and development across the newly formed district. He urged Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Njidda to fulfill his duties diligently in service to the community.

Furthermore, Honorable Bassi called upon the residents of the district to rally behind their new leader and offer unwavering support for effective governance. In recognition of his contributions, Honorable Bassi was honored with the title of “Shatiman Mbangan” by Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Njidda during the ceremony.

The event was graced by prominent figures including illustrious sons of Ganye Chiefdom, Hon Mohammed Jidjiwa, Dep Speaker ADHA, Hon Bulu, member Leko-Koma ADHA, Hon Adamu Atiku, Commissioner for Works. District heads, politicians, and other dignitaries, making it a historic gathering that underscored the significance of tradition, leadership, and communal solidarity.
