Governor Fintiri Urges Cabinet Members to Shun Corruption, Focus on Development
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has called on members of the State Executive Council and Permanent Secretaries to maintain integrity and prioritize initiatives that will foster the state’s development.
Governor Fintiri made this appeal on Sunday when the Executive Council members and Permanent Secretaries paid him a Sallah homage at the Government House in Yola, in celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, the governor commended his cabinet members for their steadfast loyalty. He reassured the people of Adamawa State of his administration’s dedication to good governance and sustainable progress.
The governor also emphasized the importance of upholding the values learned during Ramadan, urging his team to remain committed to transparency and ethical leadership. He reaffirmed that his administration’s legacy would be defined by respect for institutions and the overall welfare of the people.
Leading the delegation, Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta congratulated Governor Fintiri on the successful Ramadan fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations. She acknowledged the state’s relative peace throughout the fasting period, despite challenges in other parts of the country.
Professor Farauta also reiterated the Executive Council’s commitment to supporting the governor’s developmental agenda. She lauded Governor Fintiri’s visionary leadership, which has driven significant progress across Adamawa State.
