Desperate Search: Man Seeks Help To Reunite With Long-Lost Parents
A young Nigerian, Abubakar Sadiq, is seeking help to locate his parents, especially his mother, whom he said he lost contact with from birth.
According to him, he never met his parents, but he was taken care of by one Mrs Eno Bassey, who he lived with in Kaduna State.
Narrating his story on a Facebook group, Sadiq said Mrs Bassey died in 2000 when he was just five years old.
He said Mrs Bassey was from Oron local Government of Akwa Ibom State, where she died.
Sadiq said, “I was just a little boy of five years old when she died, and I got nobody to tell me information about my origin and parents.
“I roamed the streets both in Kaduna and Minna, Niger state at a tender age.
“I ended up in Minna orphanage home in the year 2003, then I was around eight years old.”
Sadiq is requesting help to know his origin and find his parents, “especially my mum.”
He provided pictures of Mrs Bassey, himself in the orphanage in 2003, and a picture of what he looks like now.
He also presented a picture of the only surviving person he knows, Big Sunny, who he described as Mrs Bassey’s grandson, whom they both lived together.
