Adamawa First Lady Hajiya Lami Bags Prestigious IBDFM Fellowship Award

The First Lady of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Umaru Fintiri has bagged the prestigious Fellow of the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management.

The award is in recognition of her efforts in helping the needy and her selfless contributions to the betterment of others in the tapestry of life.

Since becoming the First Lady, Her Excellency Hajiya Lami has come up with various empowerment programmes to better the lives of women and the less previleged in the State, this among others has fetched her the prestigious award.

While decorating Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, Chair Business Administration and Marketing, American University of Nigeria, and Dr. Hauwa Kumshe, Department of Banking and Finance, Modibbo Adama University, Yola, emphasized that the Fellowship Award is a recognition of her significant contributions to humanity.

Prof. Danjuma said that she is the third person in the country to get this Award, following Mrs. Rachael Seriake Dickson and Dr. Mairo Tanko Al-Makura.

Her Excellency Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri expressed profound gratitude for the distinction, thanking the Institute’s council and esteemed members for recognizing her for the Award.

According to Hajiya Lami Fintiri, the Fellowship Award not only as a personal triumph for her, but also as a testament to her dedication and passion for the fields of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management.

She vows to uphold the values the institute stands for and actively work towards advancing standards and working for the betterment of the profession.
