Setting the Unbreakable Record of Empowerment by Boya

Today in Gibson Jallo road , which is otherwise known as Army Barracks road, the Fombina Royal Suites venue of a mega empowerment program by the Lawmaker representing Fofure and Song Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya was filled to its capacity with thousands overflowed to witnessed the distribution of a rare empowerment to his constituents.

Barr Aliyu Wakili Boya is the Chairman House committee on police institutions did not only break a record but has set another record all together to mark his one year anniversary and mega empowerment for the good people of Fufore and Song federal Constituency.

Boya who is a Young Politician in Adamawa State and is known Philanthropist since he surfaced in the political scene of the State as a Local Government Chairman of Fufore. He maintained the tempo of giving and sharing both good wills and empowerment equipments in countless times. But his assuming into office as a federal Lawmaker has given another opportunity all together to engage his Constituents in not only giving people oriented policies in representation. His presence in the national assembly gave him the rare privilege to design and make laws. One of his notable bills is the bill that will see to the establishment of Federal College of health technology Song and federal college of Education in Fufore. These are all people driven bills that will transcend to generation yet unborn.

His people focused empowerment programs over time has been talk of the town, today empowerment programs has surpassed all considering his one year office and the achievements made so far.

His scorecard is more of breaking the Camel’s back and setting a new record for other to follow. Because breaking Boya’s empowerment records of his overall one year performance is seen hard bone to break by any politician in Adamawa. His representation is a hard nut to crack and only a wise politician can follow in his footsteps or his prints in sands of time to learn the rudiments of leadership.

Boya during the empowerment speech gave what I can call “a people driven achievements of a Young Adamawa politician.” Read his speech thus

“Fellow Constituents, It is my great pleasure and with utmost sincerity that I inform all my partners in progress that today marks the celebration of my one year in office and another round of our empowerment program for our teaming youths and the elderly. Glory be to God, who has ensured we arrived at this joyous point of Celebration, while, my expectations in office may differ in the minds of the people based on the view of their assessments the most paramount at this moment is that the limitations and workings of a Nigerian Legislator have been clearly understood.

“While the learning process was associated with pain, the gain is enveloped with a lot of positive measures that will spur us to a greater height, filled with eternal blessings that will surely pave the way for us to be on the track of fulfillment. As I have said earlier in my democracy day message, the dividends of this office will touch everyone irrespective of creed, calling, and political affiliation because the days ahead will be fruitful and prosperous for positive-minded individuals.As an office holder, who passed through the rigors of life in agitating for better welfare packages for the masses and the downtrodden in society, it won’t please the pulse of the mind if I don’t use this avenue to account for my stewardship in office. Understanding the challenges of the dwindling economy and its relation to day-to-day governance, I am delighted to inform my adorable constituents that the following have been achieved from 13th June 2023 to date: Sponsoring a Bill for the Establishment of the Federal College of Health Technology, Song which is in progress. Sponsoring a bill to establish the Federal College of Education (Technical) Fufore also in progress. Facilitated the allocation and earmarking of N20 Billion for the Rehabilitation of Jabbi Lamba- Malabu -Belel Road, which the contractors will very soon mobilize to site.2- Blocks of Classrooms and office were constructed at GDSS Dasin Hausa, Fufore L.G.A2-Blocks of Classrooms and office were constructed at Prof. Jibril Aminu Primary School, Song L.G.APresently, a block of 6 Classrooms in Ndabala Malabu is under construction, Fufore L.G.AOver 2000 students in tertiary Institutions across Fufore and Song L.G.As have benefitted from our scholarships, which is a continuous yearly exercise.Over 2000 individuals from Fufore and Song benefitted from our free eye surgery program.

“1800 farmers across both Local Governments received essential farming inputs in order to boast agricultural productivity. Water pumps and fertilizers were distributed across the local government areas.100 Youths were trained on cassava farming and startup tokens were provided for them.250 women were trained in liquid soap, shoe, and handbag making in order to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.15,000 people across the two local governments benefitted from our food palliative programs.136 youths secured appointments with the Nigeria Police Force, which are presently undergoing training in the various training schools across the country. Furthermore, 3 youths secured permanent Federal appointments, two of them are with the National Industrial Arbitration Panel, and the other one with the Police Service Commission Corporate Headquarters Abuja. Over 3000 solar-powered street lights were installed across Fufore and Song L.G.A. Over 20 solar boreholes and over 100 hand pump boreholes were provided across the L.G.As also, an additional 125 hand pump boreholes were repaired, ensuring access to Clean water for communities across the L.G.As3 Hilux patrol vehicles were provided to Fufore, Song, and Malabu police divisions to strengthen their security efforts.

“These achievements highlighted above are just a my-noot part of the larger picture we are working towards; however, we must remain resolute and prayerful for God in his infinite Mercy to ensure the reality of the programs as planned. Attaining one year and a few months, it won’t be appropriate if I don’t specifically thank the good people of Fufore/Song Federal Constituency, who came out in mass to reward me with their unwavering support. Let me assure you all, I won’t deviate from the noble ways that have endeared me to the people. Also extending my unique appreciation to the members of the largest party in Africa the All-Progressives Congress (APC) for their genesis support at the primary election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).Furthermore, I am also extending my joyful appreciation to my colleagues and all other government functionaries who have impacted in my course of governance within this period. Finally, my administration is built on a strong feedback mechanism, I am in government to serve, and this mandate belongs to the people.
