River Benue overfloods it’s banks

The last night heavy downpour has caused the River Benue to overflood it’s banks, causing havoc on the residents of Makurdi, the Benue State Capital. Over one thousand houses were submerged in water, leading to a wanton destruction of properties and some farmlands located near the Capital city.
