Just In: Gov Kefas approves N1bn for the payment of gratuity backlogs – Camaa Tv

The executive governor of Taraba state Dr Agbu Kefas has approved the tune of 1 billion Naira for the payment of gratuity backlogs in the state.

2011 was the most recent instance of payments being made. Governor Kefas, upon signing the approval, instructed the ministry of finance to promptly settle the outstanding entitlements.

He expressed remorse over the delays and affirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting diligent workers. In addition to the initial one billion naira, the governor sanctioned a monthly allocation of 200 million naira to clear the backlog and sustain the payments.
