JIBWIS, Gov Bala, honors Salihu Kankia who returned N100m to owner – Camaa Tv
A man identified as Salihu Abdul Hadi Kankia who hails from Katsina state was honored by an Islamic sect known as JIBWIS and Governor Bala Mohammad, Executive Governor of Bauchi State for his unusual samaritan by returning a bag full of cash (Nigerian currency) to the tune of N100 million Naira to the owner.
The incident occurred in Kankia LGA of Katsina state. Salihu, who is a member of the JIBWIS brigade, was said to have found a bag full of cash and went straight to police station to report the matter.
Mal Salihu told the police how he found the money and ask the security to help and identify the owner of the money. Which he subsequently returned the money its owner.
At the closing session of the JIBWIS conference yesterday 02/03/2024 in Bauchi, Director of the JIBWIS brigade Engr Mustapha Imam Sitti called Mal Salihu to stage to receive the honor and prizes for his good Samaritan, integrity, honesty and fear of God.
In the same vain, Gov Bala Mohammed of Bauchi awarded Salihu with a Bus vehicle to support him for his doggedness! Also a member of Zamfara parliament rewarded Salihu with the sum of two million naira.
JIBWIS on the other hand sponsored Salihu to perform HAJJ pilgrimage which is among the five pillars of Islamic in Saudi Arabia for the year 2024.
Gov Bala and the JIBWIS national secretary Sheikh Kabiru Gombe presented Salihu with an award of honor at the event.
