Breaking: Mayo-Belwa Re-run – INEC Materials En Route to Mayo-Belwa

Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, has dispatched the election materials for Mayo Belwa ahead of the constituency rerun scheduled for tomorrow 3rd February 2024.

According to Camaamedia correspondent, the materials were escorted by the security agencies to ensure safe arrival of the material to Mbilla, the headquarters of Mayo-Belwa.

Recall that Hon. Musa Mahmood Kallamu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) challenged the election that declared Hon Musa Italiya of All Progressive Congress (APC) as Member representing Mayo Belwa Constituency in the Tribunal and Appeal Courts respectively.

The appeal court ruled the election as inconclusive ordering INEC to conduct a fresh rerun In about 7 polling units across 3 wards of the constituency.
