2Baba’s Former Managers Accuse Wife Natasha of Disrupting His Global Music Ambitions

Former managers of Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia—Kaka Igbokwe and Efe Omorogbe—have raised serious concerns over what they describe as the alleged interference of his wife, Natasha Osawaru, in his career.

Speaking during a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, the duo recounted several incidents they claim hindered long-term plans to elevate 2Baba into a globally celebrated music icon.

According to them, their strategic vision involved positioning the African Queen star on the world stage, similar to the international success enjoyed by artists like Angélique Kidjo. They disclosed that multiple major projects—including a UK tour, an African tour, stadium concerts, and government-backed appearances across at least five countries—had already been finalized before being abruptly halted.

One of the ex-managers stressed the importance of expanding into international markets where Nigerian artists earn significant revenue from large global audiences. “You go out there to make your money—even if it’s 100,000 people listening, the money is enough to sustain you,” he said. He added bluntly, “2Baba needs to recognise that this woman is bad for business.”

When Daddy Freeze asked about Natasha’s family’s involvement, the managers declined to comment, suggesting the situation was deeper than what the public sees online.

One of them also shared a disturbing personal encounter, hinting at private matters within the couple’s home. “I’ve entered their bedroom and seen things I’m not meant to see. Daddy Freeze, I need therapy with what I’ve seen,” he said.
