Woman Attacks Teenage Girl over Alleged Affair with Husband in Donga
The teenager, who lives with her guardian, Jemila Savalla Wanga, was said to have repeatedly rejected advances from the married man, identified as Mr. Abbas, insisting that she was underage and that he was already married.
Sources said Mr. Abbas’ wife, Ramatu Abbas, later became aware of claims that her husband was pursuing the minor and allegedly began insulting and threatening the girl. In a bid to resolve the matter, the guardian reportedly approached Mrs. Abbas to explain that it was her husband who had been harassing the teenager and urged her to caution him.
Rather than de-escalating the situation, Mrs. Abbas allegedly went to the girl’s residence and attacked her with a razor blade, leaving the teenager with severe facial injuries.
It was further alleged that after the attack, the suspect issued threats to the victim and her guardian, warning them against reporting the incident to authorities and insisting the matter be settled privately.
The incident has drawn condemnation from residents of the area, with growing calls for security agencies and child protection authorities to intervene and ensure justice for the minor.
