Stir360 Award: Adamawa Firstlady receives ‘Humanitarian Heroine’ award -Camaa Tv

The Firstladay, Wife of the Adamawa State Governor, Her Excellency Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri (Uwar Marayu) was honored with the Stir360 Award in Yola alongside other distinguished women in the state.

The event which took place on Monday 1st April 2024, with the theme “Women Shaping The Future” was a “crème de la crème”

The event hosted men and women personalities within and outside the state, recognizing their commitment towards the development of the northeast.

Stir360 a Yola based print and digital magazine received the nomination of the award recipients through its website for subsequent recognition. The award took place at Fasnet Cinema, Yola.

Hajiya Lami was presented with the award of “Humanitarian Heroine” which stands as a testament to her contributions in the life of the vulnerables. As the The First Lady, Haj Lami played a pivotal role in human development, women empowerment, girl-child education, gender equality and inclusion, SMEs support, skills acquisition, healthcare and social investment across the state hence earning the name “Uwar Marayu”

The CEO and founder of Stir360, Mr Tee Justine commended the effort of the FIRSTLADY for sparing her time to attend the award presentation despite her tide schedule and the Ramadan fast periods. She also encouraged the First Lady to continue the cause of serving humanity.

Hajiya Lami in her remarks said she was overwhelmed by the fact that despite the numerous women in the state, Stir360 found her worthy of the award. She however expressed gratitude to the team and promised to continue to work hard towards improving the lives of the needy.

On it social media post, Stir360 highlighted the achievements of the First Lady saying:

“We see this ethos exemplified in individuals like Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, whose compassionate initiatives through The Fresh Air Pro-Life Empowerment Foundation uplift countless lives across Adamawa state.”

Other distinguished female awardees include; H.E, The Deputy Governor of Adamawa State Prof Kaletapwa G. Farauta, Hon Kate Mamuno, member representing Demsa at the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mrs Wunfe Anthony Women Affairs Commissioner, Hon Augustina Wandamiya Honorable Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Neido Grofrey Kufulto Information and Strategy Commissioner among others.

On the other hand, Male awardees include Hon Minister for Education, Prof Tahir Mamman SAN, OON. Rt Hon Betiya Wisely, Honorable Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly. Rilwan Baba Jibrin, Area Manager ITF Adamawa/Taraba and other private sector leaders.
