Police Arrest Two Suspects Linked to Kidnapping of AIG Odumosu’s Wif
The Lagos State Police have successfully apprehended two suspects allegedly involved in the abduction of Mrs. Folasade Odumosu, the wife of former Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Hakeem Odumosu.
The suspects, identified as Agbojule Smart, 27, and Keleke Michael, 30, were arrested on Friday by officers from the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Special Squad. This was confirmed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement released from the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
In the course of the arrest, police recovered two locally-made rifles, 11 live cartridges, and a sum of N2.25 million from the suspects.
The arrest marks a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into the high-profile kidnapping, with the authorities continuing to pursue other leads in the case.
