Police Arrest 6 Persons For Kidnapping, Armed robbery, Extortion
Operatives of the Borno State Police Command have arrested six persons for their alleged involvement in kidnaping, Armed Robbery and extortion in the State.

The Command Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), ASP, Nahum Daso in a statement said the arrest marks a milestone in the ongoing efforts to combat criminality in the state under the leadership of CP Yusuf Mohammed Lawal.
According to the PPRO, investigation revealed that the suspects are responsible for armed robbery and kidnapping in Magumeri and Konduga LGAs, as well as extorting money from villages, purportedly as a tax to spare them from their criminal operation.
The statement said: โOn the 25th October, 2024 following a credible tip-off, The Command Crack Squad coordinated a covert operation in Chingowa Village Konduga LGA, and arrested the suspects.
โThe following suspects, Modu Bindimi mโ 26yrs, Koso Modu Gana mโ 24yrs, Kassim Bulama mโ 27yrs, Isah Muhammed mโ 21yrs, Zarami Fantami mโ 22yrs and Modu Bunu mโ 24yrs were arrested in possession of One pump action gun, One life cartridge and N2,637,000 cashโ.
ASP Dahum said the suspects have confessed to the crime and will be charged to court after discreet investigation.
