NYSC Launches 2024 Batch C Stream II Orientation Camps Across Nigeria
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially commenced the orientation camps for the 2024 Batch C Stream II corps members across Nigeria. The orientation exercise began today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, with thousands of prospective corps members reporting to various designated camps nationwide.
The orientation program is a key part of the NYSC scheme, where new graduates undergo training aimed at preparing them for their year of national service. The camps will provide corps members with essential skills, including leadership training, teamwork, and community engagement, as well as serve as a platform for fostering national unity.
With the launch of the Batch C Stream II orientation, the NYSC has assured that all necessary health and safety measures have been put in place to ensure the well-being of the corps members during the duration of the program.
The 2024 Batch C Stream II orientation is expected to run for three weeks, after which the corps members will proceed to their respective places of primary assignment across the country, contributing to various sectors including education, health, and infrastructure development.
As the orientation camps officially open, the NYSC urges all corps members to fully engage in the training and take advantage of the opportunities to develop personally and professionally during their service year.
