Naira strengthens more at the official market, marking a 1.23% increase

On Wednesday, the official market saw the naira strengthen further, reaching a trading rate of N1,262.85 per dollar, marking a notable increase of N15.73 compared to the previous day’s rate of N1,278.58, representing a 1.23% appreciation.

Total turnover also surged to $166.18 million from $111.18 million on Tuesday. In the Investor’s and Exporters’ (I&E) window, the naira fluctuated between N1,296 and N1,210 against the dollar.
