Lamido Adamawa Harps On Importance Of Education

The Gand Patron of Tapital Pulaaku International, who is also Lamido Adamawa, Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa has stressed the need for Fulani people to acquire both Islamic and Western education for their benefits in this world and the hereafter.


The Lamido made the plea on Saturday during celebration of National Pulaaku Day organized by organisation held at Fadfatis Jimeta, Yola North local government area, with the theme: “Promote Peace among diverse ethnic nationalities in the state’.
Represented by Kakaaki Adamawa, Prof. Abubakar Abba Tahir, Lamido Adamawa noted that the benefits of education cannot be over emphasized, and called on Fulani youths to acquire entrepreneurship skills for self-reliant, as white collar jobs are no longer available.
Lamido Adamawa commended FUDECO for promoting cultural heritage among Fulani populace in Adamawa and Nigeria in general, urged them not to relentle as a surest way of sustaining the culture for future generations.
Also, the Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley has applauded Fulbe Development and Cultural Organization (FUDECO) for their contribution immensely in the promotion of peaceful coexistence in Adamawa.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya advised them to sustain the tempo, and urged members of FUDECO to embark on sensitization campaign for peace and unity to reign among the diverse ethnic groups in the state.
The speaker explained that legislative arm of government under his watch are making legislation aimed at ensuring peace and unity exist across the state and pledged the lawmakers support to FUDECO.
