Kumangar Bids Farewell, Highlights Ministry’s Role in Govt Image-Building
The outgoing Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Adamawa state, Mr. Solomon Kumangar, has underscored the ministry’s imperative role in projecting government activities to the public.
Speaking at the ministry’s headquarters in Yola during the official handing-over ceremony, Kumangar expressed his readiness to offer guidance and counsel to the incoming Permanent Secretary, Hajiya Hauwa Ali Banu.
Kumangar thanked God for a fulfilling career and appreciated the staff for their support during his tenure of office.
Meanwhile, the incoming Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Hauwa Ali Banu appreciated staff efforts in promoting the state’s image and sought their continued support.
She explained that her doors are always open for observation and advice, sueing for uprightness, tenacious commitment and unity of purpose among the staff.
Also speaking, Director Administration of the Ministry, Mrs. Gacha Maxwell, congratulated both officials and urged Banu to excel in her new role.
Goodwill messages were received from state-owned media chiefs, including Engineer Amos Ulea of ABC Yola, Mrs. Charity Kande Garba of ATV Yola and Mr. Zubairu Iya of the APL the publishers of scope newspaper.
