Adamawa Assembly Confirms 45 State Development Area Administrators

The Adamawa State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of 45 State Development Area Administrators following a request sent by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

The confirmation took place during the plenary session on Wednesday, which was presided over by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley.

In a unanimous decision, the lawmakers screened and approved the nominees to enable them to officially assume their duties across the various development areas in the state.

The appointment of administrators for Development Areas is part of the state government’s strategy to bring governance closer to the grassroots, particularly in wards outside the main urban centers of the Local Government Areas.

The newly confirmed administrators will oversee administrative and developmental activities in their respective domains, working to ensure that state government policies are implemented effectively at the community level.
