Governor Agbu Kefas strengthening security with forest guards.

Taraba State has joined the pilot phase of the newly established Federal Forest Guard following the intervention of Governor Agbu Kefas.

The first batch of 750 candidates has departed Jalingo for the Mobile Police Training School in Osun State after undergoing comprehensive medical screening.

The initiative is part of Governor Kefas’ broader agenda to strengthen security across the state while creating sustainable job opportunities for young people.

Special Adviser on Security Intelligence and the State Coordinator of the program, Colonel Kwelle Rtd lauded the governor’s foresight, describing the move as a bold step toward youth empowerment and improved security architecture in Taraba.
