Gov Fintiri Empowers Judiciary with 23 New SUVs to Boost Justice Delivery in Adamawa

In a bold move to reinforce the effectiveness of the judicial system, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has distributed twenty-three brand new 2024 GS8 4WD SUVs to judiciary officers. The presentation, held Thursday at the Government House in Yola, underscores the governor’s unwavering commitment to enhancing service delivery and strengthening the rule of law in the state.

Addressing attendees at the handover ceremony, Governor Fintiri highlighted the significance of the initiative, noting that the vehicles were procured to promote efficiency, mobility, and optimal performance among judicial officers. He reaffirmed that the welfare of the judiciary remains a top priority of his administration, as access to justice for all citizens depends heavily on a well-supported legal system.

“This government will continue to invest in the judiciary to ensure that justice is not only done but is seen to be done promptly and effectively,” Governor Fintiri stated. “We are committed to building a system where no one is denied their right, especially the common man.”

The governor also used the occasion to stress his broader commitment to revitalizing the civil service structure, asserting that every arm of government must be equipped for optimal delivery and accountability.

In her response, the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Hapsat Abdurrahman, who received the keys on behalf of the judiciary, conveyed profound gratitude to the governor for the generous and strategic support. She commended Governor Fintiri for his consistent efforts to strengthen the judiciary, pledging that the judicial officers will uphold the principles of justice and fairness.

“We are inspired by your continuous support and will remain committed to dispensing justice without fear or favour,” she said.
