Former Super Falcons star Precious Dede celebrates miracle arrival of quadruplets

The former Nigeria international has announced the birth of her first children, a rare and beautiful set of quadruplets. After many years of waiting for motherhood following her marriage in a quiet ceremony, Dede revealed that she welcomed four babies at once: two boys and two girls.

Precious Dede is widely respected as one of the finest goalkeepers to ever play for Nigeria women’s national football team, the Super Falcons.

Born in Lagos in January 1980, she enjoyed a long career that spanned more than a decade at international level, earning 99 caps for her country. Dede featured in several major tournaments, including multiple Women’s World Cups and three Olympic Games.

At club level, she played for top Nigerian sides such as Delta Queens FC, Rivers Angels FC and Bayelsa Queens FC. She also had a spell in Europe with Arna-Bjørnar in Norway.

Dede won the African Women’s Championship twice with Nigeria, in 2010 and 2014, before retiring fully from football in 2016. At the time, she was one of the longest-serving players in the national team.

according to her, after many years of waiting, God showed up in the most beautiful way—- FOUR precious blessings at once. and expressed gratitude to God Almighty for turning her years of prayers, tears, and hope into miracles of four Babies in one pregnancy.
