Again, Gov. Fintiri Donates Food Items To NYSC Corps Member Deployed To Adamawa
Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in his remarkable display of generosity, has again donated food materials worth millions of naira to the National Youth Service Corps corps members presently undergoing their Orientation Course at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Damare.
Recall that the Governor, while addressing the corps members during their Swearing-in Ceremony, pledged his commitment to the welfare of the corps members throughout their service year in the State.
The donation was warmly received by the State Coordinator, Jingi Denis, along with some of the corps members who expressed deep appreciation for the Governor’s gesture. The State Coordinator, Jingi Denis, acknowledged that such support would go a long way in ensuring the well-being and comfort of the corps members during their stay in Adamawa State.
Appreciating the State Government on behalf of the corp members, Corper Yakubu Sunday, stated that they are elated by this act of kindness and promised to reciprocate by working diligently and contributing positively to the development of the state. They expressed gratitude for the Governor’s recognition of their efforts and his commitment to their welfare.
The food materials donated include 50 bags of rice, 10 kegs of groundnut oil and 10 cows. It is worthy to note that, just like the last batch, the Governor has been consistent in this act of kindness to the corps members with every sets and batches of corps members deployed to the State for the national service.
This further demonstrate His Excellency’s practical commitment to ensuring that the corps members have a comfortable and rewarding experience during their service year.
As NYSC corps members continue their service in Adamawa State, they can now rest assured that they have a supportive government that values their contributions and is committed to their well-being.
