Adamawa Monarch Lauds Dangote’s Corporate Social Responsibility
The Hama Bachama HRM. Dr Daniel Shaga has lauded the positive impacts of the president of the Dangote Group. Alhaji Aliko Dangote on his community of Bachama in Guyuk Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The Paramount Ruler disclosed this when he granted audience to a delegation of Journalists drawn from the Northeast who visited the monarch at his palace in Numan.
Homun Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismailia,who played host to the Journalists through his Secretary,Mr.Ambrose Tanyishi noted that a substantial number of his subjects and in extension, people from five local governments including, Numan, Demsa, Lamurde, Guyuk and shelleng have benefited from various trainings and empowerment Programmes of Dangote Sugar Refinery.
The Monarch emphasized that social vices and idleness have dropped significantly as youth are always engaged on factory work as well as farming activities.
The Paramount Ruler commended the initiative by Dangote in exposing the climate change and challenges to Journalists as it will help educating not only the pen-pushers but the entire society.
The Executive Director, Climate Africa Media Initiative and Centre (CAMIC) Aliu Akoshile commended the Hama Bachama for providing a peaceful environment where the biggest Sugar factory in the country is flourishing.
The State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan equally commended the Monarch for opening doors to the visiting Journalists
