Adamawa Govt Reconstitutes Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board

The Adamawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has undergone reconstitution, with a new 14-member team now in place. Geoffrey Garba has been appointed as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive of the board. The appointments, approved by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, are effective immediately, as confirmed in a press statement from the Government House in Yola on Tuesday.

The statement, issued by Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, revealed that Rt Rev Theophilus Shadrach will serve as the Chairman of the board. The newly appointed members include Rev. Moses Luckson, Rev. Fr. Anselm Kachalla, Rev. Bukar Lala, Pastor Biyasa Abraham, Rev. Joel Lamba, and Rev. Stephen Stephen.

Additionally, three representatives have been chosen to represent the senatorial districts of Adamawa State: Rev. Pius Usman Ayuba for the Southern Zone, Pastor Alfred Enoch Sunama for the Central Zone, and Rev. Father Sixtus Wuylshiri for the Northern Zone.

The board’s membership is further completed by representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, and the Christian Association of Nigeria.
