Adamawa govt hands over construction of shopping complex to contractors

The Adamawa State Government on Tuesday, officially hands over the construction site of the demolished Jimeta Modern Shopping Complex to Associate Designs and Consultants.

This phase marks the start of the preliminary activities for the construction work. Adamawa State government awarded the contract to three contractors, who will oversee the projects over the next 20 months.

The three contractors assigned to handle the construction projects at the Modern Shopping Complex site are Lubell Nigeria Limited, Madugu Commercial & Construction Company Limited and Amijapp Nigeria Limited.

The Commissioner of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Dr Ishaya Dabari said the new market will comprise shops, fire service, police station, clinic and administrative buildings among others.

Recall that CAMAAMEDIA reports that the Adamawa State Executive Council Wednesday 28th August approved construction of Jimeta Modern Shoping Complex in Yola North Local Government Area at the cost of N19.7bn.
