 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 200-𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗼

The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has enrolled as a 200-level law student at Northwest University, Kano, and has officially began attending classes.

 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 200-𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗼

The monarch joined other undergraduates for classes on Tuesday, dressed in a black flowing outfit and a white turban.

Sanusi’s appearance in class comes days after the university offered him special admission into its Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programme in Common and Sharia Law.

According to the institution, the admission was granted in recognition of his vast experience in governance, economics and public service.

Despite being a PhD holder and former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Sanusi has continued to champion education, social reform and intellectual engagement, remaining a prominent and often provocative voice in Nigeria’s public space.
